Terms and Conditions
The terms that govern your use of ifha.com.ar and your enrollment in the programs, services and content of IFHA – Artisan Ice Cream Training Institute, including early access to our English programs.
This document does two jobs: it is the legal notice of ifha.com.ar —who runs the site and on what terms it may be used— and it sets out the general terms of sale for the programs, courses, consulting services and digital content IFHA offers. Please read it carefully before using the site or enrolling in a program.
English programs · early access
Pre-enrollment is open for the Flex Intensive Course and the Master Ice Cream Maker Program – Flex. Pre-enrolled students get first access as soon as the English edition opens, and keep the early-access price. There is no start date yet, and we don’t promise one.
Full refund on request at any time before your access opens. You pay in USD, from any country. The details are in section 08 (early access) and section 09 (international payments).

IFHA is a brand of Eido S.A.S. (CUIT 30-71934933-8), an Argentine group of companies working in gastronomy, consulting and professional ice cream making, with a global reach. Every contractual relationship that arises from this site is entered into with Eido S.A.S., acting under the IFHA brand. Learn more about the group at eido.com.ar.
Purpose and acceptance
These Terms govern access to, browsing and use of the Website, as well as the purchase of the training programs, professional services and digital content that IFHA offers through it or through the channels the Site makes available.
Accessing and using the Site makes you a User and means you fully and unreservedly accept these Terms, in the version published at the time of access. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the Site.
Enrolling or pre-enrolling in a program, or generating a payment order, also means you expressly accept the terms of sale in sections 05 to 19 of this document. IFHA records that acceptance with the date and time, together with your enrollment details, and that record is sufficient proof of your consent.
Definitions
- IFHA: the Instituto de Formación del Helado Artesanal (Artisan Ice Cream Training Institute), the brand under which Eido S.A.S. operates.
- Website or Site: the ifha.com.ar domain and all its subdomains, sections, interfaces, content and features.
- User: anyone who accesses, browses or uses the Site.
- Student: a User who purchases and joins an IFHA training program.
- Program: any course, professional program, masterclass, webinar, training, consulting or professional service offered by IFHA.
- Materials: notes, recipe books, spreadsheets, presentations, class recordings, videos and any other content delivered or made available as part of a Program.
- Consumer: a User who meets the conditions of article 1 of Law No. 24,240 and article 1092 of the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code.
Site terms of use
Access to the Site is free of charge, apart from the cost of the internet connection the User has with their own provider. Some sections may require prior registration, enrollment or payment.
The User agrees to use the Site lawfully, in good faith, in line with public order and with these Terms. In particular, the User agrees not to:
- use the content or services for unlawful purposes, in ways that harm the rights of others, or contrary to applicable law;
- introduce or spread viruses, malicious code or any system that could damage, alter or disable the Site, its servers or third-party equipment;
- try to access restricted areas, other people’s accounts, databases or the Site’s source code;
- carry out bulk or automated extraction of content (scraping, unauthorized crawling, data mining), or reuse the content to train artificial intelligence systems without IFHA’s express written permission;
- overload the Site’s infrastructure through automated submissions, denial-of-service attacks or unauthorized load testing;
- impersonate another person or use other people’s data without their consent.
Forms and accuracy of information
The information the User enters in any form on the Site must be true, accurate, complete and up to date, and the User is solely responsible for keeping it updated. IFHA is not liable for errors, delays or inability to provide a service caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information, nor by full mailboxes, spam filters or wrong contact numbers.
The Site’s forms are protected against automated submissions. If the Site is used with tools that bypass that protection, IFHA may block access.
Merely accessing the Site does not by itself create any commercial, academic or advisory relationship between the User and IFHA.
Programs and services offered by IFHA
IFHA offers professional training in artisan ice cream making and related services, online, in person or blended, depending on the Program. The features of each one —content, workload, duration, format, requirements, number of places, dates and price— are those published on the Program page at the time of purchase and, where applicable, those set out in the proposal sent to the person interested.
The information published on the Site about a Program is part of the offer under article 7 of Law No. 24,240 and binds IFHA while it remains published. If the general advertising, the Program page and the individual proposal sent to the person interested differ, the condition most favorable to the Consumer prevails.
Places
In Programs with limited places, spots are assigned in the order in which payments are confirmed, not in the order in which interest is expressed. IFHA may close enrollment for an edition at any time once all places are taken.
Enrollment and formation of the contract
The purchase process has the following steps:
- The person interested fills in the enrollment form with their personal, contact and billing details, and selects the Program, the edition and the item they wish to pay.
- By submitting the form, they confirm they have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Submitting the form generates a payment order, recorded with the date and time.
- The person pays through one of the available methods. Payments that are confirmed manually (bank transfers and international methods) require sending the proof of payment.
- IFHA verifies that the payment has been received and sends a confirmation by email, together with the Program access details. For the English Programs in early access, the access details arrive when the English edition opens (section 08).
The contract is formed when IFHA confirms it, once the corresponding payment has been received, not by merely submitting the form or generating the order. Until then, the place is not considered reserved.
IFHA may reject an enrollment, without this giving rise to any compensation, when the information provided is false or inconsistent, when the payment is not received, when places have run out, or when there are well-founded reasons of security, regulatory compliance or the person’s own history of non-compliance. In that case, everything paid is refunded in full.
You must be 18 or older to enroll. Minors may only take part with the express authorization of their parents, guardians or legal representatives, who take responsibility for the purchase.
Prices, currency and payment methods
Program reference prices are in US dollars (USD). When payment is made in Argentine pesos (ARS), the conversion uses the official US dollar exchange rate of Banco de la Nación Argentina at the time the payment order is generated. The converted amount is shown before you confirm the transaction and is held while the order remains valid.
The current prices of each Program are those published on its page and confirmed in the payment order. IFHA may change its prices at any time; price changes don’t affect Programs already purchased or payment plans already agreed, which keep the amount agreed at enrollment.
Available payment methods
- From Argentina: bank transfer, and credit or debit card through the payment gateway enabled on the Site.
- From outside Argentina: Wise, Binance Pay, PayPal, Western Union and international bank transfer. Section 09 explains how each one works for the English Programs.
The available methods and their conditions may vary depending on the Program, the country of residence and the provider’s availability; the methods in force are those shown on the payment screen. Fees, taxes, withholdings, bank charges and exchange differences applied by banks, wallets, payment platforms or the tax authority of the User’s country are paid by the User and are added to the Program price. The amount credited to IFHA’s account must be the price shown, free of those charges.
Promotions and financing
Published promotions, discounts, credits, scholarships and installment plans have the conditions, requirements and validity stated in each case, don’t combine with one another unless expressly stated, and don’t apply retroactively to transactions already made. Card installments, where available, depend on the card issuer’s promotion and the payment gateway, not on IFHA.
Early access and pre-enrollment (English programs)
This section applies to the programs offered in English at ifha.com.ar/en/: the Flex Intensive Course and the Master Ice Cream Maker Program – Flex (the “English Programs”). Where it differs from the rest of this document, this section prevails. It never limits your rights as a consumer under section 12 or section 23.
How pre-enrollment works
- Pre-enrollment is open. The English editions of these programs are in preparation and don’t have a start date yet. We don’t announce or promise a date: pre-enrolled students get first access as soon as the English edition opens, and we let you know by email when it does.
- Pre-enrolling is free and doesn’t oblige you to buy. If you want, you can pay the early-access price in full when you pre-enroll.
- Pre-enrolled students keep the early-access price. If you pre-enroll without paying, you can pay that price when we let you know the English edition is opening.
- One payment, in USD. The English Programs are paid in a single payment, with no installments and no spot reservation.
- Flex Intensive Course
- USD 719 early-access price · USD 799 list price · one payment
- Master Ice Cream Maker Program – Flex
- USD 1,570 early-access price · USD 1,745 list price · one payment
- How the price is set. The early-access price is the list price minus 10%, rounded down to the dollar.
- It doesn’t combine with other discounts. The 10% early-access discount can’t be added to any other promotion or benefit. If more than one applies, you get the larger one.
- What’s included is what the program page describes at the time you pre-enroll (section 05). On completion, you receive a QR-verifiable certificate under the conditions in section 16.
- Your access period starts when your access opens, not on the day you pre-enroll or pay. For example, the 1-year access of the Flex Intensive Course is counted from the day your access opens.
- Confirmation. When you pay, we confirm your payment by email, as described in section 06. Your access details arrive when the English edition opens.
Refunds before and after your access opens
Before your access opens
Full refund on request at any time before your access opens. Write to info@ifha.com.ar or message us on WhatsApp at +54 9 11 2892 4489 with your name and the program. We confirm your request in writing and refund the full amount you paid through the same payment method or, if that method doesn’t allow it, through another method you agree to.
After your access opens, the general terms of this document apply, translated from the Spanish original: in particular, the right of withdrawal in section 12, whose ten-day period counts from the day your access opens, and the cancellation rules in section 13.
If an English edition doesn’t open. If we decide not to open the English edition of a program, we’ll let you know by email and refund the full amount you paid, as section 14 provides for canceled editions.
International payments
On our English site, prices are in US dollars (USD) and you can pay from any country. These are the available methods. We name them here for your information: the payment instructions appear on the payment screen once you enroll.
- PayPal
- With your PayPal account or a card through PayPal. Confirmed automatically. An 11% processing fee is added to the price.
- Wise
- A 3.5% fee is added to the price. Confirmed by our team once you send the receipt.
- International bank transfer (SWIFT)
- In USD. Confirmed by our team once you send the receipt.
- Binance Pay
- Confirmed by our team once you send the receipt.
- Western Union
- Confirmed by our team once you send the transfer control number (MTCN).
- Fees. The PayPal and Wise fees are shown in your order summary before you pay. Charges from your bank or intermediary banks, currency conversion and taxes in your country are paid by you, as section 07 explains: the amount credited to IFHA must be the price shown.
- Confirmation. PayPal confirms the payment automatically. With Wise, international bank transfer, Binance Pay and Western Union, you send us the receipt, our team verifies it and we confirm by email.
- One payment. The English Programs are paid in full in a single payment, with no installments.
- Paying from Argentina? Local payment options in Argentine pesos are described in the Spanish version of these terms, and our Spanish site lists them for each program.
Spot reservation, payment plans and late payment
Some Programs can be paid in parts: a spot reservation when you enroll and a plan of later installments, or full payment in advance. The applicable scheme, the amount of each installment and the due dates are shown before you confirm enrollment and are recorded in the Student’s payment plan. The English Programs are paid in a single payment, so this section doesn’t apply to them.
The spot reservation confirms your place in the chosen edition. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the reservation doesn’t prepay or cancel any installment of the plan.
Paying each installment on time is a condition for keeping access to the Program. If an installment isn’t paid by its due date, IFHA will send the corresponding notice and may, thirty (30) calendar days after the due date and after formal notice, suspend access to the classes, the Materials and the certificate until the payment is made. Suspension doesn’t release the Student from installments already due or extend the Program’s deadlines.
Overdue amounts may accrue interest at the lending rate published by Banco de la Nación Argentina for 30-day discount operations, from the due date until actual payment.
Invoicing
IFHA issues the tax receipt required under current Argentine law and the tax status declared by the User. The receipt is sent electronically to the email address given at enrollment.
The User is responsible for providing correct tax details (name or company name, ID or CUIT/CUIL number, VAT status and address) before paying. Receipts already issued can only be corrected within the time limits and scope allowed by the applicable tax rules.
Right of withdrawal (withdrawal button)
Withdrawal button
If you are a consumer and purchased remotely, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within TEN (10) calendar days from the date of the contract or from delivery of the service or content, whichever is later, without giving a reason and at no cost, under article 34 of Law No. 24,240 and articles 1110 to 1116 of the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code. This right cannot be waived, and any clause to the contrary is considered void.
How to use it: send an email to info@ifha.com.ar with the subject “Withdrawal”, or a WhatsApp message to +54 9 11 2892 4489, with your full name, ID document, the Program purchased and the transaction date. You can also use the same channel you used to buy. IFHA acknowledges receipt in writing and refunds everything you paid through the same payment method, with no charge or penalty, within the legal time limits.
Legal exceptions. Under article 1116 of the Civil and Commercial Code, the right of withdrawal doesn’t apply to digital content not supplied on a physical medium —recordings, videos, recipe books, spreadsheets and downloadable files— once supply has begun with the Consumer’s prior and express consent and their acknowledgment that, by downloading or playing it, they lose the right of withdrawal. By accessing that content within the ten-day period, the Student gives that consent.
Nor does the right of withdrawal apply to personalized services already fully performed at the Consumer’s express request within that period, such as a consultation or a one-on-one class already given.
Cancellations, absences and change of edition
Once the withdrawal period in the previous section has ended, the enrollment is final and the Student remains obliged to pay the agreed price, regardless of how much they actually take part.
Missing one or more classes doesn’t give a right to a refund, discount, credit or automatic extension, nor does it oblige IFHA to repeat content already taught. Where the Program provides for it, the Student can catch up through the available recording.
At the Student’s request, made reasonably in advance of the start of the purchased edition, IFHA may consider moving the place to a later edition, subject to availability and to that edition’s current price. This is at IFHA’s discretion and is not a right the Student can demand.
A Program can be canceled through the same channel used to purchase it, under article 10 ter of Law No. 24,240. IFHA acknowledges receipt of the request in writing.
Changes, postponement or cancellation by IFHA
IFHA aims to keep the announced schedule and teaching team. It may, however, make reasonable changes that don’t alter the substance of the Program: schedule adjustments, replacing a teacher with another suitably qualified one, changes in the order of topics or content updates, or a change of the technical platform used. These changes are communicated as early as possible and don’t give a right to terminate the contract.
If IFHA postpones the start of an edition, the Student may choose between keeping their place on the new date or a full refund of what they paid. If IFHA cancels an edition permanently, it refunds everything paid through the same payment method, and may also offer a transfer to another edition or an equivalent Program.
When the Program can’t be delivered due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure —including government measures, widespread service outages, labor disputes, health emergencies or serious failures of infrastructure providers—, IFHA may reschedule the affected classes or move in-person classes online, without incurring additional liability.
Live classes, recordings and access to Materials
Online classes are given through third-party video-conferencing platforms, and Materials may be delivered through virtual classrooms or cloud repositories. The Student needs a suitable internet connection, device and browser; IFHA is not liable for failures of connections, devices or services outside its control, nor for interruptions attributable to those platforms.
When the Program includes recordings, access is granted for the period stated in each case —twelve (12) months from the start of the edition, unless stated otherwise—. Access is personal, individual, non-transferable and revocable, and is granted solely for the Student’s own study.
Use of classes and materials
Recording, capturing, downloading by means other than those provided, reproducing, publishing, sharing, assigning, reselling or making available to third parties the classes, recordings and Materials, in whole or in part, is expressly prohibited —including uploading them to messaging platforms, social networks, repositories, download sites or artificial intelligence systems. Sharing login credentials is also prohibited. A breach allows IFHA to remove the Student without a refund and to bring the corresponding civil and criminal actions.
Certificates and academic scope
On completing a Program, and provided the stated attendance, assessment and full-payment requirements have been met, IFHA issues the corresponding certificate in the Student’s name, with the details the Student has provided.
Scope of certificates
IFHA certificates certify participation in and completion of private professional training. They are not official, undergraduate or graduate degrees, they don’t qualify the holder to practice a regulated profession, and they don’t replace the licenses, permits, health registrations or authorizations each jurisdiction requires to make or sell food. IFHA doesn’t process or guarantee the recognition, validation, apostille or accreditation of its certificates before the education or health authorities of any country.
Duplicates, corrections of details due to the Student’s error, and physical shipping may be subject to an administrative charge, which is disclosed in advance.
Code of conduct and grounds for removal
IFHA guarantees its Students dignified and fair treatment and expects the same from them toward teachers, staff and classmates. The following are grounds for suspension or removal, after a warning when the seriousness of the case allows it:
- discriminatory, violent, offensive or harassing behavior, in class or in the Program’s communication channels;
- unauthorized sharing of classes, Materials or other participants' data;
- using the Program’s channels to promote your own or third-party products or services without permission;
- providing false information or impersonating someone else;
- breaching hygiene and safety rules in in-person activities.
Removal on these grounds doesn’t give a right to a refund of amounts paid, nor does it release the Student from pending installments due up to the date of removal.
In in-person activities, the Student must follow the hygiene, safety and clothing rules they are given, and is responsible for reporting, before the activity, any allergy, intolerance or relevant health condition. IFHA is not liable for harm resulting from a failure to provide that information or to follow the instructions given.
No guarantee of business results
IFHA’s Programs are educational. They provide technical, methodological and management knowledge, but don’t guarantee any particular financial, commercial or professional result: not the opening of a business, a level of sales, profitability or savings, nor getting a job, clients or financing.
The cases, figures, testimonials and examples shown on the Site or during the Programs are illustrative and reflect individual experiences; they are not a promise or a projection of results for other Students. The outcome of any business depends on factors beyond IFHA’s control, including each person’s dedication, investment, location, economic context and management.
Guidance on costs, prices, margins, company structure, taxes or financing given in the Programs is general in nature and doesn’t replace the professional advice —accounting, tax, legal or financial— that each person should obtain for their own case.
Recipes, food safety and permits
The formulas, recipe balancing, processes and technical recommendations IFHA teaches are prepared with professional judgment and must be adapted to the ingredients, equipment, working conditions and regulations of each country, province and municipality. Applying them is the sole responsibility of the person who does so.
The Student is solely responsible for complying with the Código Alimentario Argentino (Argentine Food Code) or the food regulations of their own jurisdiction; for obtaining the required permits, establishment and product registrations, health certificates and food-handler cards; and for correctly declaring allergens and nutrition information on the products they make and sell.
IFHA is not liable for damages, penalties, closures, seizures or claims arising from the production, handling, storage, labeling or sale of products by the Student or third parties.
Content of the Site, blog and social media
Articles, guides, notes, free downloadable materials, webinars and social media posts are general and for information only. They are not professional advice for a specific case and don’t create any contractual relationship.
IFHA aims to keep published information accurate and up to date, but doesn’t guarantee that it is complete or permanently current, and may change or remove it at any time without notice. Market data, reference prices, cited regulations and figures may change over time.
When content mentions third-party brands, equipment, ingredients or suppliers, those mentions are for reference only and don’t imply a recommendation, endorsement, sponsorship or business relationship, unless expressly stated.
Intellectual and industrial property
All content of the Site and the Programs —texts, images, photographs, videos, recordings, audio, formulas and recipe books, spreadsheets, presentations, designs, navigation structure, source code, databases, trademarks, logos and trade names— belongs to Eido S.A.S. or to third parties who have authorized its use, and is protected by Intellectual Property Law No. 11,723, Trademark Law No. 22,362 and the applicable international treaties.
Purchasing a Program grants the Student a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the Materials, solely for study. It doesn’t transfer ownership or any exploitation right.
The Student may apply the technical knowledge acquired professionally in their own business, and make and sell the products they learn to make. The Student may not, however, teach courses, training or consulting that reproduce IFHA’s Materials, teaching structure or content, nor present themselves as a teacher, representative, branch or authorized center of IFHA without a written agreement.
The trademarks “IFHA”, “Instituto de Formación del Helado Artesanal”, “Eido” and their logos may not be used without prior written authorization. Their use in third-party domain names, profiles, advertising, meta tags or paid campaign keywords is prohibited.
User contributions, reviews and use of image
When a User sends questions, comments, reviews, photographs, recipes or any other content to IFHA or its channels, they guarantee that they hold the necessary rights and that the content doesn’t infringe third-party rights or the law.
By sending it, they grant IFHA a free, non-exclusive and revocable license to reproduce it and share it publicly on its institutional channels to promote its activity, crediting their name where appropriate. The User can ask IFHA to stop that use at any time by writing to info@ifha.com.ar.
Classes may be recorded for the teaching use of that edition’s Students. Anyone who doesn’t want their image or voice recorded can keep their camera and microphone off and let IFHA know. Using images of Students for promotional purposes requires their prior express consent, under article 31 of Law No. 11,723, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Site availability and limitation of liability
IFHA takes reasonable measures for the Site to work properly, but doesn’t guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. The Site may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, technical incidents or causes beyond IFHA’s control.
To the extent permitted by law, IFHA is not liable for damages arising from: inability to access the Site; failures of connections, devices, software or third-party services; viruses or malicious code introduced by third parties; the User’s use of the published information; or loss of profits, loss of opportunity or indirect damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or reduces the rights that Law No. 24,240 and the Civil and Commercial Code grant consumers on a mandatory basis, including liability for damages caused by IFHA’s non-performance.
Links to third-party sites
The Site may include links to third-party pages, payment platforms, social networks or services. Those links are provided only to make it easier to access information or services and don’t imply a recommendation, endorsement or connection with their owners.
IFHA doesn’t control and isn’t responsible for the availability, content, privacy policies or practices of those sites. We recommend reading their own terms and policies before using them.
Linking to the Site is allowed as long as the link goes to the full destination page, doesn’t reproduce its content, doesn’t cause confusion about its origin and doesn’t suggest a nonexistent relationship with IFHA. Displaying the Site inside a frame (framing) is prohibited.
Personal data protection and cookies
The processing of personal data collected through the Site and the enrollment processes is governed by the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies and similar technologies by the Cookie Policy. Both documents are an integral part of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
IFHA may change these Terms to adapt them to legal, technical or operational changes or to changes in its offer. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
Contracts already entered into are governed by the version in force at the time of purchase. When a change substantially affects the conditions of a Program in progress, IFHA will notify the affected Students by email reasonably in advance.
General provisions
- Notices. Notices between the parties are validly given by email to the addresses provided: IFHA’s in section 01 and the one the User has declared. The parties accept electronic communications and IFHA’s computer records as valid evidence.
- Severability. If a clause is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining clauses stay fully in force, and the affected clause will be interpreted in the valid way closest to its purpose.
- Assignment. The User may not assign their contractual position or transfer their place without IFHA’s prior written consent. IFHA may assign the contract in the event of a corporate reorganization, without affecting the User’s rights.
- No waiver. IFHA’s failure to exercise a right doesn’t mean it waives that right, nor does it create any acquired right for the User.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the accepted proposal or payment order, are the entire agreement between the parties on their subject matter.
Language. This document is the English version of the Spanish original (version 3.0 of September 17, 2026), with sections 08 and 09 added for the English Programs. If the two versions differ, the Spanish version prevails, except for sections 08 and 09 and except where the English version is more favorable to the consumer.
Governing law, consumer protection and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, expressly excluding any conflict-of-law rules that would refer to another legal system. If you are a consumer living outside Argentina, this choice of law doesn’t deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.
Consumers
If you are a consumer: disputes are submitted to the competent courts of the place where you live, under article 36 of Law No. 24,240 and article 1109 of the Civil and Commercial Code. Any clause that tries to displace that jurisdiction is considered void.
Before filing a claim, you can go free of charge to the Prior Conciliation Service for Consumer Relations (COPREC) or file your complaint through the Federal Consumer Protection Single Window (argentina.gob.ar/produccion/defensadelconsumidor) or with the consumer protection authority of your province or municipality.
For relationships that are not consumer relationships —in particular consulting and advisory services provided to businesses—, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Ordinary Courts of the Judicial Department of San Isidro, Buenos Aires Province, waiving any other forum or jurisdiction.
Contact, questions and complaints
For any question, complaint or exercise of rights related to these Terms, you can write to info@ifha.com.ar, call +54 9 11 2892 4489 or use the Site’s contact form. IFHA answers complaints within a reasonable time and keeps a record of them.
